Looking Back on 2014
2014 is coming to a bittersweet end and it seems like everyone is already looking ahead to 2015! But, before we jump into the new year, I want to look back at all that happened in LoCo this year. It has been a great year filled with events, new attractions and announcements of what’s to come in DC’s Wine Country. I’ve capture some of the best of 2014 through our most popular social media posts.
1. Facebook: One of the top Facebook posts from 2014 actually came just about a week ago and it’s no shocker that everyone

went crazy over the news that Flying Dog Brewery is opening an experimental brewery in Lououn. With the craft brew scene exploding over the past year, having Flying Dog become a part of the LoCo brew family is a great next step. The Flying Dog brewery is set to open summer of 2015, but until then, make sure to stop by some of the other new breweries that you haven’t tried yet.

3. Pinterest: The categories on Pinterest are endless, but you can never go wrong pinning about your beautiful wedding or other special day in Loudoun. With the many wineries, beautiful hotels, cozy B&B’s and rustic barns there is a setting and vibe fore every bride’s vision. While this was only the second year of the event, it has already seen huge growth and I can’t wait to see how it keeps growing next year.
