First Friday, First for Thawed out Fun! Why you HAVE to spend the Weekend in Loudoun County!
Take it in on our First Fridays in Leesburg. Wine tasting and Art are the quintessential cornerstone of the Loudoun County Experience. Stop by the Visitors Center at Market Station during Leesburg’s First Friday event to enjoy a wine tasting from a Loudoun winery, refreshments, and a local art show.
Held the first Friday of every month, except January, Leesburg’s First Friday lets you fully experience all that Historic Downtown Leesburg has to offer. Over 35 specialty shops, art galleries, antique shops and restaurants are open until 9pm or later, many offering free refreshments and/or special sales. Enjoy live music throughout the evening, art exhibits, wine tastings, a comedy show and even a yoga happy hour! Leesburg’s First Friday is a program of the Loudoun Arts Council.

Don’t forget Friday is also tasting night at Grandale Farm. Grandale Farm hosts their Tasting Night the first and third Friday of every month. Enjoy a delicious four course meal prepared by Chef Author and paired with wine, including a wine from Loudoun County.

Willowcraft Farm Vineyards puts on a lovely Wine & Cheese Pairing, and if you are around Sunday, you might enjoy Organ and Choir Concert; Dr. Steven Cooksey of the Shenandoah Conservatory presents “400 Years of the Great Chorales” at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
