I know, I’m a little early this year with my Thanksgiving wishes, but since AAA is predicting a four percent increase in travel over last year, a lot of you may be traveling so I wanted to make sure you received our wish. And thanks for traveling too! As Hans Christian Andersen wrote: ” “To move, to breathe, to fly, to float, To gain all while you give, To roam the roads of lands remote: To travel is to live.”

A few things to remember this week, first of all, travel safe! If your travels bring you to Loudoun, check out our website for lots of holiday events and fun things to do while you’re here. If you’re traveling from Loudoun, make sure you bring a little bit of Loudoun with you, perhaps in the form of a delicious pie from Mom’s Apple Pie or Hill High Country Store.

If you’re sticking around here, or heading here for the holiday, there’s a few things going on you should be aware of. For early arrivals, check out “Nashville North” at 29 Vines in Purcellville. On Wednesday, November 23 they’ll host a party featuring the Music City songwriters Colin Street and Keesy Timmer.

If you don’t feel like cooking this year, Thanksgiving meals are being served at Lansdowne Resort, The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm, brunch at the Holiday Inn Dulles, and a buffett at Vintage 50. Wanna be home, but not cook? Magnolias at the Mill in Purcellville has Thanksgiving Dinners to go!

And get your shopping done early this year with a visit to the Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets Midnight Madness Sale!
