Loudoun’s Virginia Wine Country Half Marathon Update
The Virginia Wine Country Half Marathon will be held on June 2. After all, we are DC’s Wine Country! The race is a great way to experience our wine country, on foot! Plus, at the end, there’s a wine festival and later that night a music and wine festival too. Its a TON of fun. For the second year in a row, the event is sold out. But don’t lose faith! You have until March 15th to be added to the wait list. Just go to Run4VirginiaWine.com and click on the “Second Chance Wait List” button. Good luck!
The awesome artwork you see is from this year’s poster. It was designed by Loudoun artist Jill Evans-Kavaldjian. It depicts the lane into Doukenie Winery, which is the start and finish line for the race. If you’ve driven into the winery, you’ll recognize the view instantly.
