Ring in the New Year

The passing of another year is something to be celebrated. Getting together with family and friends, enjoying a good meal, raising a glass of festive sparkling wine, dancing the night away.  These festivities can be simple or extravagant, cozy or all inclusive. However you choose to celebrate, we hope your hearts are warm with memories of the year past and bright with hope for the year to come.  Here’s to a happy holiday season and a bright new year to all!  Cheers from Loudoun, Virginia: DC’s Wine Country!

New Year’s Eve Celebrations

A Swinging New Year’s Eve is the theme at the Holiday Inn Washington-Dulles Airport. The hotel’s “New York Speak Easy” package includes six drink tickets, an elegant three course plated dinner, dessert display, DJ and dancing, a champagne toast, and party favors.  Enjoy all of that plus overnight accommodations, a breakfast buffet in the morning, and a 3pm check out with their “Chicago Swing” package.

Dry Mill Vineyards & Winery will be hosting a New Year’s Eve Bash featuring live music from October Skies, heavy hors d’oeuvres from Mama Lucci’s, dancing, party favors, and wine of course! They’ll be breaking out a few vintages from their wine library, giving guests a last chance opportunity to purchase their 2009 Chardonnay, Viognier, and Cabernet Franc.

Lansdowne Resort has you covered for the New Year with numerous dining options and two great overnight packages featuring the “ultimate 80s tribute band,” The Reflex. Lansdowne’s restaurants will be serving everything from breakfast and dinner buffets to four course seated dinners to make sure you stay well fueled for all of that breakdancing.

Tally Ho Theatre in historic downtown Leesburg hosts three bands to rock you into the New Year. Former Champions, Shack Band, and Moogatu will take the stage at 7pm leaving you time to slip in an early dinner at the theater’s Mediterranean inspired La Lou Bistro or at one of the many downtown restaurants.

Vintage 50 Restaurant and Brew Lounge is hosting a special dinner for the evening in their dining room and a party in the lounge featuring live music, dancing, hors d’oeuvres, and an open bar.
