So we’ve found a cozy seat next to the fireplace to warm up with a glass of Loudoun wine on these cold winter weekends. But that’s not the only way the wineries are inviting you in and keeping you warm this season. Several Loudoun wineries offer special food and wine pairings on the weekends, ranging from a hearty bowl of soup to a full dinner highlighting different cuisines. Throw in some live music and of course, Loudoun wine, and you might find yourself looking forward to a chilly winter weekend!

Bogati Bodega & Vineyard has something to satisfy most any appetite, offering a variety of food and wine experiences. From their gourmet flatbread pizzas for sale during their Uncork Your Weekend events, wine and soup weekends, winemakers small plates dinners, or their wine & small bites tastings, Bogati ‘s Argentinian inspired wines and atmosphere will spice up any winter day.

868 Estate Vineyards is a natural choice for food and wine pairings any time of the year as the winery is associated with Grandale Restaurant, one of Loudoun’s destination restaurants. 868 recently launched The Vine, a wine club for women that offers special pairings of food and wine along with a wine education seminar. February’s Vine Club event focuses on Northern Italian wines and food.

Loudoun Valley Vineyards continues their annual Soup & Wine offer this year. Every Saturday during the winter months, enjoy a bowl of soup and a glass of wine for $12. Grab a seat next to their fireplace and you’re sure to stay warm and cozy even on the chilliest days.

The Vineyards and Winery at Lost Creek’s Winter Wine Nights features meals highlighting different cuisines paired with Lost Creek’s wines and live music. The dinners are hosted every Saturday through March 9th. Upcoming dinners include Asian cuisine on February 23rd and a hearty, all-American southern style feast for the final meal of the season on March 9th.
