Loudoun’s Weekend Guide: January 6-8
I don’t know about you, but the thing I think about morning, noon and night is…food. I love food. Mashed potatoes, chips & salsa, popsicles and just about everything else. As soon as I finish breakfast I start thinking about lunch. So when I realized all of the great culinary events in Loudoun this weekend I couldn’t wait to share them with you. Bogota Winery, Old Ox Brewery and Lost Rhino Retreat all have great dishes waiting for you.
Wine & Soup Weekend – January 6-8
During these chilly months, nothing sounds better than glass of wine and a bowl of warm delicious soup. Bogati Winery in Round Hill has got you covered. Grab your friends and family and head over to the tasting room this weekend to sit in front of the fireplace and indulge.
Brewers Brunch – January 7
Get your tickets now for Old Ox Brewery‘s Brewers Brunch this Saturday being held in the tasting room. The Wandering Chef will be providing a delicious breakfast with eggs, sausage, chicken and grits and much more, plus pair it with your favorite Old Ox brew! Along with breakfast and a brew, make sure to grab one of their “beermosas”. See you there!
Hangover Brunch – January 8
Who doesn’t love a delicious brunch on a Sunday morning? Lost Rhino Retreat definitely does. Head over this weekend for a delicious brunch including classic dishes with a twist like breakfast tacos, brunchito, biscuit and short rib gravy or banana pancakes with beer syrup! Don’t forget to grab a drink like Brewer’s Draft choice, House Bloody Mary or a Michelda (kolas and bloody mary mix with a dash of Tabasco and rimmed with Old Bay).
